You'd think it would be overcrowded, but as sites get blocked by web filters, there is a need for a replacement...so I guess it depends how quickly they get blocked...

^ If that needs to be done, then I say that's a lot of blog and the life of proxies die out...

As for over crowded, I think the internet is already saturated with tons of proxies.

That doesn't mean he can't make money at it though. Just because a segment of a market is saturated doesn't mean that new players can't break in and grab themselves a piece of the pie, as long as the entry barriers are low and they play their cards right, in terms of getting the right exposure.

Unless you're planning on giving complimentary blowjobs or something, I really don't see how much different you can make a proxy. A proxy is a proxy. :D

He can if all the other proxies get blocked and leave his unblocked :D

On a serious note - yes they are crowded but if you get it exposed and keep it under the radar of works and schools filters you've got a good chance :)

If you offer premium services and speed and know your shit, you will do just fine.

When I started, proxy.org had 1000 proxies. Now it has 6,500. The figures speak for themselves.

Well, it would actually depend. I guess as more people are trying to access sites anonymously for one reason or another, there would inevitably be demand for new proxy. Old ones get banned and closed so the new ones would be there to fill the shoes. It is a neverending cycle.

Some sites banned the use of proxy so if yours is new, it may not have been detected so you could get access to those sites.
