Hi, can anyone tell me if it is possible? I don't need to connect paypal account to my bank account or to deposit via credit card, just to send and receive payments online.. Will they close my account anyways when they see my IP or..? Also, what do I need to verify my account, so I can use it normaly? I heard something about bills and passport sending.. etc.. What is that all about? Has anyone experiences with this? I really need account to send and receive payments online and I don't think my country will be in allowed list soon.. Thank you
Yes, you cannot open a Paypal account if your country is not listed in the approved country. Some have tried and got away for a while but got found out and existing funds are frozen. Yes, they can track your IP address and if there is any red flag, they can ask you to verify your details. You may need to submit your passport, utility bills and credit card statement. If you pass, you can have access to your money, otherwise you be at the losing end. Check out Paypal's Agreement http://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=xpt/ua/USUA-outside , one of the prohibited activities would be and You can verify a paypal account using a credit card or in some country, a bank account.
Yes, I knew most of those things already, but what are the chances that my funds will be frozen if I access my account from unallowed country? 99% or 1 in million? I need other's experiences in this..
I do not have the Paypal statistics but they seems to be more proactive nowadays about this. If you are not verified properly, the chances of being frozen is very high. It seems that every now and then people's accounts have been frozen and they asked them to provide evidences to proof that they are who they say they are. If you ask me, I will say the risk is 'any day now'. If you are a high risk person, feel free to do it. Otherwise, just find an alternative.
The problem is that in job I'm currently doing there is no alternative. Until now, I've been using other people's accounts for receiving money and transfering it to another paymant processors, but its sometimes really hard to spend money from other's accounts.. I really don't know what to do now..
Well, even if you could get a paypal account working for say a few months, there is no way you can withdraw from it because if you request for a check, it will go to your stated address and if you do not stay there, you cannot get it. You cannot send to a bank account because they know about it. Then if you do not verify the account, you can only withdraw or spend up to $500 for the lifetime which makes it quite useless. All in all, it would mean that much of the money you earn in paypal, you will not be able to see or use it.
Like I said, $500 per life time until you are verified. Do not use a VCC because your IP will already raise a red flag and they will most likely ask you for your credit card statement and if you don't have it, your account will be locked up. Also do not use a fake address or fake ID. Do not pretend to be from a country you are not.
Use Thats countries IP Proxy and log in very rarely and try and avoid Credit card transactions,as they are biggest threat for a Paypal account to get limited. Maddy
You are ready to take risk. Go on with this option. Get a fully verified account from someone and use that. Tell you the truth, you can use it easily. In case of any problem, the guy who has created account for you can handle the situation. But it against the policy of Paypal. And if he find something suspecious, your account will be limited. And you may lose money.
Ok, one guy is offering me a fully verified swedish PP account with a VPN thing, so paypal cannot know that I'm not from Sweden.. Shoud I take it?
I think you should go for it. But that guy must be there in case of any problem. Paypal limits the account in start and then asks for some verifications. Your guy must have to provide all that information. You are doing it on your risk. I will not be held responsible in case of any loss.
Well, you know that by doing so, you are breaking Paypal's TOS and there is a risk that you get can serious issues with the account. So just be warned.
