<sarcasm>No, it's in their terms and conditions so you can ignore it if you choose.</sarcasm>

Adsense requires you be 18 to sign up for an account. But I know a lot of webmasters who are not 18 who have signed up and have done well with them. They don't seem to check the age limitations, AFAIK, but telling you that you need to be 18 (in the U.S. you must be AT LEAST 18 to enter into a legal binding contract, which is what pressing that "I agree" on the Adsense page when you sign up is) is their way of covering their ass, IMO.

They don't check if you are, if that's what you mean. But taxes might be a problem if you're underage, I'm not so sure how that will work.

I don't know, but according to their Terms and Conditions you need to be 18 and US residents need to enter tax info.

If you don't have a bank account, you can just let your mom or dad or anyone with a bank account cash it for you.

    agree with "jackburton2006".
or you can use your mom or dad's name as the adsense account.

Google doesn't asks you to provide proof of your actual age, so you can sign-up at google adsense as said by jackburton2006. But how you will be able to open your bank account if you are not 18. Bank certainly needs a valid documents to verify your actual age.

No you don't need to be 18, I'm 16 and I've already gotten 2 google adsense checks! You don't need to be 18 to open a bank account here in Australia.

You don't need to be 18 to have a bank account in Singapore either.
In fact, I got mine when I was 9 years old.
Does any bank in the world have any age restrictions on the opening of an ordinary account for that matter?

If I find out that my bank allows 9 year olds to open an account, I'm taking all my money out tomorrow.
