I'd guess April Fools, I think he mentioned he makes $10k per month on the blog so even if it wasn't worth it, why not just leave it up and let it sit while you enjoy the residual income. I guess we'll find out tomorrow or Monday.
I think that is a good strategy, shoemoney can lose some revenue today, but like in this thread there are a lot of sites and blogs talking about it and in the next days he will obtain a lot of new people interested in knowing about him.

Shoemoney was sitting on this thread for awhile which was in the General chat area up to a few minutes ago. Another thread about his blog being down. http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=284446 He's off the thread now. But was there for about 5 minutes or so.
