I put $ behind the numbers because it's the french way (and we had to in school.. since I was in the french immersion program) its a habit you can't get rid of lol
Exactly what I was going to say, $100 and 100$ are both the same, as long as the buyer and seller understand it doesnt matter.
I am from Singapore and we use the $ sign before the numbers like in $100. We basically follow the British way of doing it. It is just that over here, the symbol placed at the back is reserves for Cents. So you placed it as 100$, my mind is wired to think it is 100 cents or $1. Like I believe in some European countries, instead of stated Ten Thousand as $10,000 , they have it as $10.000 . Took me a while to figure that it means ten thousand dollars and not ten dollars. The world is weird. It be a lot easier if we have a standard method of communication in English. My thoughts is that if you write in English, you should follow the english rules. But if I were to write in French, then I follow how the french does it. That will simplify things and reduce misunderstanding.
