coach is responcible, and then the captain. we have reached the finals last time, why exit in the first round this time! greg chappell has wasted time and money, he got crores of rs, but then he did not coach the players well, that's why the team performed below par!! greg chappell is critising the players, the selectors the senior players etc, and not accepting his own fault! why? greg chapple is responcible!!
i think you are absolutely right,coach is responsible.he induced the feeling of being thrown out at any moment in players mind and they never gained confidence and he was the one who destroyes irfan pathan who dint know what his role was,a batsman? a bowler? or an all rounder?greg is disgusting
Some of you people stupidly give esteem to the coach as if the Coach is someone comparable to the almighty God who knows each and every thing and you talk like your players are stupid idiot fools who didn't know how to play cricket, I guess you cant get into the cricket team without knowing how to play cricket exceptionally well right? IT
funny...players know how to play cricket, but its coach's job to take best out of them and make them perform.but thats not what happened.greg himself was involved in fights with team members.how will he be able to control the team then.I dont think you know much about Greg-Ganguly story and what a strong come back Ganguly made.i guess you start watcing cricket.
The coach is just a guy who arranges the practice sessions for the players and discusses the game plans with them, and THATS IT, the Coach can not make them play better if they dont want to do that themselves. Heck... if I was a player or knew anyone personally who was, I'd just tell him to view his video when he got out or the video of whatever mistakes he did and then see why the problem happened and then work on it... simple as that, but I guess some people don't know what does one mean by common sense. Greg Chappell organized the practice sessions etc. pretty well therefore I feel whatever money was paid to him was well worth it, he cant get into the players' body and make them play the way he wants to, plus most of your players are super egoists who will never listen to anyone's advice who tells them that they actually suck. Ganguly was also a foolish Egoist during his feud with Greg Chappell, although he is good now, please don't mention him here. IT

They got out from the world cup because they themselves didn't have the urge to play well, they have already earned Hundreds of Crores of rupees through advertisements, that money is enough for GENERATIONS, so why would they even want to play now? Let alone playing well. IT
No i dont think thats correct.money isnt everything.players like Sachin had enough even ten years back.but he continued to play well.its only now he dint play well.
