    Hello everyone,
i'm looking for a new, sharp and bright logo and design for my forum www.webmastershelp.com. I would like a web 2.0 look.

The logo needs to be easy to remember, and include an image or shape (not only the text).
It should say WebmastersHelp.com, could be in two lines.
It should have two or more colors.
If you want to put a slogan somewhere use "Webmaster Forum"

About the design, i did the current design a week ago, i like the rounded corners and layout but i am not happy with the colors, it has no theme or personality. You can use that as a starting point and change the colors graphics and logo, or you can make something from scratch.

I like blue, grey, white, light browns, and orange but feel free to use any colors you like as long as they are not too shiny or unprofessional.

I like sharp and not very graphics-busy websites and logos like sitepoint.com or alistapart.com

    File format should be psd.
The logo shapes should not be rasterized.

    Prize: 250 dollars
Note that i can pick a layout from one member and a logo from another member, giving 150 to the author of the layout and 100 to the author of the logo.
    Payment method: Paypal

I reserve the right to don't pick a winner if no design meets my requierements.
If that happens i'll compensate the authors of the best two designs with 25 dollars each.

    Thanks everyone,
    Gaston

You actually need custom full vBulletin skin plus logo for $250. This is too less price for work anybody must invest in it. I'm in for logo only ...

I know. With coding it will be more expensive than $250

No, i don't need custom full vBulletin skin.
I need a one page layout done in photoshop, that i'll implement and transform into a skin.
I'm am not asking for the postbit layout, forum icons, buttons etc.
Just the base layout which could be like a normal website, the only difference are the tables in the center.

If someone wants to make the buttons, status icons and postbit layout and that entry wins, the prize for the winner layout will be 200 otherwise it's 150.

I like the symbol, the light blue looks good.
The font for the text is not good. And the blending makes it look like plastic.

Any size is ok but it should be possible to arrange the parts in a way that it can be resized to around 200x90 px.

I really like sharp text and invented shapes in logos, just like the sitepoint.com logo.
I general no shadows or blending, but feel free to experiment and post your work.
    Thanks for asking.

Hi DustyDog, thanks for your entry :)
I like the simplicity of the text, not the green.
I don't like the symbol, and i think the slogan is too big.
A new different concept from you would be great.

    Hello Fidel_Castro,
I don't really like the logo, very rounded fonts don't look professional.
    I don't like the red :p.
The less effects in the text the better.
I like plain text with two or three colors that match and a simple simbol. (like the FedEx logo)
Sharp fonts work better. I like serif fonts maybe you can try a logo with that kind of font.

Also, the name WebmastersHelp.com is too long for a single line, experiment and see how it looks like this

    Webmasters
    Help
    .com

    Thanks so much for participating,
    Gaston
