Do You Squidoo? Good way to get free traffic

I spent a lot of time on the water as a kid, but not any more. My boating lens is just as way of promoting my website on the same topic. If you ever make a lens about sailing or anything related, make sure you add it to my group at http://www.squidoo.com/groups/boating

Surprisingly that's my least popular group - guess there aren't enough sailors on squidoo.

Don't you think that allowing lensmasters 30 unimproved lenses is a bit much? I think that number should be lower. Just my opinion.

It probably is.

I found out because I had a lot of lenses with 3 modules, plus the intro. I hit the limit. And couldn't figure out how to fix them. Because there was nothing stating what constitutes an unimproved lens.

After clarifying it at the SquidU forum I thought I'd write a lens about it.

And then went about adding extra content to the lenses that didn't make the grade.

I've still have a few that are unimproved.

I'm trying to make up the extra modules with written content rather then throwing in just any old modules. I only like to add a Guestbook if the topic really warrants it.

I make about $10-$15/month from Squidoo.

As far as money I make from sales coming directly from Squidoo traffic... I've been making about $1,000/month for a few months now..

 

Hey Everyone,

New to Squidoo and have created 4 lenses. Got that part figured out, but how do i go in and rate someone elses lens? I don't see an area where you can rate them. I only see the star ratings.

If anyone can shed some light I would greatly appreciate it. It's probably right in front of my face and I'm just not seeing it.
