    i am goint to buy new laptop , any suggestion here with your experience ? i need 8 hour battery back up .

    I find laptops so awkward to use. My brother has a laptop, I just can't get use to it.

    Aha.. fujitsu is a good one to, my friend use it.. she said that it's small and reliable.... she bought Fujitsu instead of her first choice, Toshiba

    My father bought nc2400 coz his friend worked in HP and he got some discount when bought it...

    unless you like to waste time playing video games,, then maybe get a Toshiba or acer.

    The best labtop that I have used was the Sony Vaio.

    It's very fast, and it's outside design is very elegant.

    Also the battery lasts over 8 hours. :)

    I'm using a half beat to death gateway, and it still works really well lol...battery life isn't great but it has a big screen...

    Oh, I love my Powerbook G4. It's really wonderful. If you can afford it i would recommend a a "15 Mac Book Pro with as much ram as possible. Just install Windows as a secondary OS and dual boot until you learn to love OS X :)

    Best laptop I've seen so far, I agree as well. Battery life of 6 hours isn't bad. Typically you'll find 2 - 3 hours battery life on other laptops..

    I use Fujitsu-Siemens Laptop.

    Never had a problem with it for over a year.

    I think Sony Vaio is the best. I used it and its the best. Now-a-days I am using Acer''s but I am not satisfied with it.

    Word! I can't believe how long my macbook pro lasts.

    My Dell might last 2 hours on idle. :mad:

    My Mac lasts at least 10. :eek:


    (my wife's HP.... 10 minutes)


    Oh, and SONY and Acer are JUNK!

    Yeah, I agree.. My ACER sucks balls... I get about 20 minutes now.. It's only about 6 months old. That damn Mac Book and iBook just amaze me... One of my guys as an older iBook, and is still getting around 2 hours out of a 4 year old machine.. Crazy stuff...
