As a moderator,What are your benefits in DP? I would like to know because I would like to give moderation to some members in my forum http://www.findallinone.com/forums/ . What are your suggestions?

Well, we have a nice dental plan.

    The 401-(k) is well-managed.

And I get six weeks of vacation each year.

i dont think there are any qualifications required.. ur past track record says it all... and i dont think that being a friend of the owner helps at all ;)

that trick helps when u have a tiny forum of less than 15members.. ;)

...and, he forgot to mention the company car!

Seriously though, I have moderated in the past for a couple of high-profile affiliate forums (no more though), and there really were no "benefits". I did it because I was active in the forum and believed in the forum. Perhaps being a MOD, a fair one, helps to build your online credibility and reputation...that could very well be seen as a "benefit".

Wait...there was one other benefit....instead of "wishing" I could ban some knuckleheads, I actually was able to ban them. Now, that was a nice benefit.
