This guy is cracking me up. First the Atheists, now the the gays. He reminds me of some of the arguments I have had with my boyfriend. My boyfriend preaches up and down how his religion is the ULTIMATE, but all I see his religion did was make him into a BIGOT! It's just so ironic to me that people think that they will make people like me convert by calling me idiotic and stupid, and saying how I live my life is wrong. When I think of religion, I would like to think of holy, honest, and loving people. All I keep seeing is BIGOTRY!
*sigh* Homosexuality is one of those things that isn't exclusive to humanity...it's pretty rampant through out nature. In the neighborhood I live in there's this little black pug that will totally ignore the female dog in heat to nail one of the male dogs...does it all the time. It's been observed in cats, monkeys, apes, rabbits, dogs, etc. That tells me that that it IS a natural thing in the course of the natural world. What does ANY god have to do with that? Personally, I feel that there is little enough love in the world to ever deny it to anyone who has found it...irregardless of the "plumbing" issues.
my chihuahua has a strange attraction to its stuffed toys. humps em all the time. loves the pig the most, then its frog.never humps the hedgehog though. that's kinda weird.
I don't know about this. I find in some cultures there are hardly any homos. So I am inclined to think many homos are not predisposed to being homos rather they are moulded by the culture they live in.
Gay people in Jamaica get murdered often - it certainly isn't due to the culture they live in that makes them as they are. Sexuality isn't black and white qwestcommunications, or do you forget the time you dreamt of having sex with your parents or siblings? This is not an insult nor am I trying to be offensive, but that my friend is a fact you cannot deny. We all wish we never had or have these dreams, but it happens to everyone. That includes you - the person reading this post. You are not excluded. Sexuality isn't black and white. Personally I believe there's a wide spectrum and we are all on different parts of that spectrum. Society's pigeon holes do a great job of keeping it black and white though - which is probably a good thing anyway. Life's complicated enough. Pete
It doesn't happen in some cultures It NEVER happened inour day -------------------------------------- Hate to burst the bubble, but it DID and does! It is just not socially acceptable to admit it, as to do so would result in the social biggotry and persecution that this thread shows off at its worse SOME societies are like totally intolerant of same sex relations, some going so far as the death penalty. We should be thankful that we live in a society where state punishment is not an issue, and take sadness from the fact that it is our brothers and sisters in life that will persecute us most. Has ANYONE heard a gay man or woman bleating on about how DISGUSTING heterosexual relationships are? I for one have not, and the homophobes should stop and think about this for a while.

Unless I am mistaken, dreams are not concious thoughts, and it takes TREMENDOUS effort to control your dreams and be able to wake yourself up. I know as I suffered horrendous nightmares due to my 'difficult' childhood. Only someone who is guilty would say they are not. or do you think that denial is a river in Egypt
I will have to say I never had a dream like that! I couldn't quite figure out if you were agreeing or disagreeing with him on this post?!??
I wasn't agreeing or disagreeing, I was simply pointing out that we are not in 'our right mind' when we are sleeping. I was also baiting the thread Ferret, I have NEVER had a weird sex dream, and THAT is an absolute FACT! This is only because I can not envisage anything related to sex as being weird. (unless you count 5 sheep, 2 goats, 4 ducks (female of course), a mouse, and a packet of chocolate biscuits (cookies) weird). I have to admit though as I refused to let the caribou watch as I am a little uncomfortable with caribou voyeurism.
