doDesign - My Portfolio (please critique)

This is my portfolio doDesign. Have any suggestions in terms of design and functionality? And what do you think of the design?

Absolutely remove the adverts. You're trying to represent a successful design company, having google adwords suggests otherwise.

The design isn't bad but it's very washed out, too white / soft.

 

I agree, remove those ads. It's quite nice but you have to think along the lines of the customer 'why should I give my money to this person'. I'd give it a bit more colour and a bit more polish.

nah, I've been on all those sites before


I decided to make everything on my site free!!!

 

I say make it much brighter / bolder. Right now it's too faded, almost transparent.

 

Any color suggestions?

Although the design may need a bolder color here or there, the usability is excellent. Although I didn't want to download a design the experience getting there was seamless and the effects made it fun. Good work!

 

Thanks a lot! Does anyone think the flash widget when you go to download is a good idea? I needed to save my bandwith so I upload it to Box,net.

 

The header looks a bit plain. Overall the site needs some work, it seems really spaced out and white. But like the direction you're going in
