    Get hold of a management firm - either one time or get a deal on a monthly basis. You can find good companies that do this for 30-100$ a month - 10-50$ one time.

    are you kidding?

    ITs min 1000$/month and some companies want more than that.You cant prevent DDOS with an internal firewall.for example apf,iptables etc.

    You probably mean simple DDOS attacks.

    What control panel/ set up do you have, I think $1000 is well over the top. If you have CPanel I can help you for a lot lot less than that :)
