300 - Did you like it? Did you not.

I just came back from seeing 300 again, and I have to say that is one of the best movies that I have seen in a while. The virtual computer generated scenes and everything make for a unique and awesome theater experience. I'd like to hear some other opinions on the movie. Did you guys like/dislike it and why?

By the way if you haven't seen it, I highly recommend that you do! ASAP.

 

Yesterday my friend saw it.. and he said it's very addicting. He's the kind of guy who doesn't get addicted and into the story. He told me he almost shed a tear drop.. (so it's got to be worth something here.) I don't know if there is any emotional parts in the movie...

But it seems pretty cool... Graphics and all the crazy stuff.

 

I love that film. Its a glorious epic movie with great special effects.

 

Btw is it better then troy?

They told me troy is crap infront of this one.

But let's say is not the best i've seen it a good movie and since i like history and fighting i liked it mutch + the quen is beutifull

 

I thought it was worth seeing. Personally I liked troy better.

 

i like the movie , this is the second movie i like the most first was troy! which i think noone can beat it

 

Troy was horrible, even comparing it to nothing else. 300 was awsome.

 

yesterday, i just saw that movie, cause of my friends were recommended to watch that movie. Its so really high graphics movie, which i have ever seen on one of favorites PS2 game "God Of war", i was happy to watch this movie and thought that its possible to make a film on "God of war"

Thats scene was so scary when they talk each other easy way and killing the demons like they cultivate the seeds on ground.

 

I think of the 9 other threads about the movie on DP, I've only seen one person who said they didn't care for the carbon copy feeling of every fight scene. That was their biggest beef.

I'm certainly looking fwd to seeing it for myself!

Seems something like Lord of the Rings..how does LOTR compare wid 300?

300 must be good then if u find it better than LOTR!!

 

300 movie is totally different then lord of rings.

And due to his high resultion graphics, i can only compare with "God Of war" game.

 

300 was decent, excellent direction and emotion provocation, but it failed for me in the bigger picture; the satisfaction after resolving the main plot issue.

 

well, I was dead stoned when I first watched it and to say the truth I was very impressed... but than again I didn't like some parts, like when queen gives that emo speech and all the people nodding in approval - looked like shit!

I went to see it again today, on fresh mind and it was a better experience to say the truth... there are some stunning fights going on and I feel like grabbing a sword and cutting half of the Hungary into pieces.. nah, not gonna do that but story was very nice... oh, and I didn't like the part with strange creatures from the Xerxe's army... it was not necessary! And fuck, Xerxes wasn't that huge

overall, thumbs up for the movie! awesome render! awesome story! Leonidas rocks!
