Please share your Opinions !
Different page with different meta desciption concentrating on the page content is a good action of SEO.
you are supposed to focus on about 4 keywords or less on each page. You should alter the keywords on each page to reach a higher variety of terms...but metatags do not count in google anymore..there are many more important factors than this...meta tags worked well in the past....new things are happening...At least thats the way I get many top placements in google.. Good Luck Johan
Its a good habbit to use different title & description for different pages, & try to optimise a particular keyword on a specific page.
Certainly. The importance of meta keywords is so low, that is just not worth to talk about. Content+links, that's it.
second option is best... as they say the flow of theme should be there.... All the best.... Also tell us how it worked for you.....
you should pay attention on both things mention here: More content+links and different page with different meta description
While I agree with those of you that say Meta-tags are useless, from what I have heard Google does not use that at all anymore. I believe Yahoo will use the meta description to display on the SERP. But, with all of the talk about how useless they are most of the big SEM firms still use them on their own sites. When they stop using unique meta tags, I will stop using them.
I think it will be good to use different meta tags for different pages otherwise you have chance of falling in supplemental hell...
What you need to do is to analyze each keyword, and see which one would bring you the most clicks at the lowest CPC (and yes, there is a cost per click even with organic SEO). If you're running an actual business, you need to approach it as such.
second option will better but as i know G will ignore meta keywords and meta description . this wil help you for the other search engines
I agree with 2nd option. Just make sure that you: - pick 3-4 keywords to focus on - while meta keywords do not matter much, still use them - make sure your keywords you use in meta tags are also used on the page in a visible way - h1 tags, bold, anchor text, alt text - I believe Google uses Description as a snippet in the SERPs if one does not exist from DMOZ. - use 3-4 keywords unique to each page, but MAKE SURE that these keywords are visible on your page - see my point #3. Best luck and let us know the results.
