Getting even with a webmaster you hate

this idea came across my mind,

what if some idiot decides to click and click on your adsense ads to get you into trouble?

what if someone who hates you do this to get even?

is the adsense click fraud robot intelligent enough to distinguish this kind of click behavior?

If you suspect someone is going to click bomb your ads its always best to plat it safe and send adsense an email.

At one time a rumpswab kept clicking on my ads. Normally I would make $1-2 a day, and during the time the fraudulent activity occurred, my earnings were around $40-50 in the two days during the occurrence.

Google sent me an e-mail right away claiming there was fraudulent clicks, and my account was going to be canceled. I kindly replied and they reversed the cancellation.

Guess some people out there are just not nice.

this is basically everyone's biggest fear. A system should have been put in place so that it never happens, and it auto-bans an IP that is doing this. Lots of people have gone through hell because of idiots who do these things.

Google didn't care when I tried to appeal against "invalid clicks". I was kind about it too.

Whats the actual Google email address you use? Might need it just in case someone gets jealous.

That happened to me i got click bombed. I could go back and click bomb the person because i know there ip adress. It was actually some one from DP. Although im a bigger man and don't indulge in that kind of thing. Also it is illegal to click bomb someone you could be prosecuted for it.

What they act to people, will re-act to them, If they intend to click fraud to somebody, then somebody may try to click bomb him as well.

    God bless you.

I wrote a script that prevents anyone from clicking more than one ad based on the timeframe I set. Works like a charm too!

Sorry - it only works on my own sites right now, but eventually I'll release a public version.

The best method i agree would be to get incontact via mail or the phone with adsence its self to deal with the problem correctly i do belive all ip are recorded to unless the person was using some kinda proxy program i dont think you have much to worry about
