    There are no Urls listed under the ads, I just noticed that. I don't remember that in the other one posted (the sexy one).

    PS. It doesn't look very googley to me! except for that big GOOGLE marke across the top :p

    This is more than likely a user-styled ad, I don't think Google would actually do this, since it makes it harder to customize.

    The reason they are testing it is to determine if the CTR and their profits will go down or up with this format. If it becomes mainstream, be assured it will only be because Google has already determined that CTR will not suffer because of it.
