Does anybody know the exact (or at least approximate) date of the next PR update? How often does it usually happen?
You should really search for the answer before starting a new thread, because this topic has been covered ad nauseum. No-one but Google can give a definitive answer, but it's likely to be mid to late April going on previous form.
Iv seen in another thread that the last PR update was 70 something days ago. I *believe* it's every 3-4months + do the math You can at least get an estimate!
Hate to break it but as far as PR news goes, today's is just as good as that from 2 months ago! The last update began in the first week of Jan and safe in the knowledge these updates occur about every 3 months, mid to end of April is about right.
Here is a link for you to bookmark: http://www.seocompany.ca/pagerank/page-rank-update-list.html As you will see, they are simply tracking the days between datacenter and toolbar updates. Apr 15th is the estimated toolbar update. But, remember with the last update how Google came back and made a second update towards the end of January? I'm not sure if they considered that as one continuous update or not, but that could throw off this upcoming update.
not another PR update thread ....its the same info in all of them...starting a new thread is not going to give you different answers
I almost never post in the "date-of-PR-update" threads. However, there is some action going on today. In about 20% of the datacenters, I'm showing a PR0. That is typical behavior when some Google PR stuff is going on. Hopefully, we can just watch for the next couple of days and see if it's just an anomaly or the real thing.
No one knows the exact date of the Google Pagerank update, I wonder why people are so interested in PR. I was interested in PR too. But if you think then good niche and good content are important too. If you have good content and traffic at your site, then there isnt anything to worry about. Google decides when to update, they can update tomorrow, or they can update in September. No one knows, except google.
