the connection says it is fine. And i type in an adress and it says site found down the bottom, but the site is blocked from appearing as internet exporer says "no add ons", and this is also seen on all the internet expolorer icons? Anyone know how i can fix this? __________________
first of all take a deep breath and tell whats happening properly not understanding your OP btw stop using Internet Explorer Use Mozilla Firefox
Well all my windows explorer icons say wondows explorer with "no add ons" . But ever since this "no add ons" has been displayed my internet has not been loading the pages. My wireless conection says it has full linkage and everything is fine, its just Internet explorer isn't loading the pages even though it says web site found down the bottom right hand corner after the adress is entered. But i want to stay with Internet explorer. Anyone know how i fix the problem other than a reboot or using Mozilla.
excatly, firefox and opera are lot better than internet explorer. try firefox, if you don't like it just uninstall that, am sure you won't be dissapointed
but i have no way of installing firefox. firstly i need to fix this browser problem so i can open pages, which will lead me to opening and installing firefox
Hi chum112, The better way is uninstall your old web browser, then reinstall with new Internet Explorer7, you can download the new Internet Explorer7 here (http://downloads.yahoo.com/internetexplorer/index.php) If it still not working try use mozilla, it not much different than internet explorer, you can download it here (http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox) Cheers
Here are some fixes for this problem. http://blogs.msdn.com/ie/archive/2006/07/25/678113.aspx The "No Add ons" mode of IE7 basically turns all plug ins off. Check to see where you are running IE from. The properties might be saying "C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe" -extoff The -extoff is what causing the "no add ons". This should not impact you reaching any web sites. IE7 should work without the add ons.
