    Hello guys,

I'm reviewing new laptop option for me. I need a WIFI access where I can access a hot spot from 6th floor.

Well, my friend who own toshiba can access it from my room but my laptop (fujitsu 2010 can't access the wireless from here).. I wonder if there is any small laptop that have strong wifi?

    What do you think?

I have a Toshiba Satellite and it does have a very strong signal (however, there are major heating problems and such... definitely not worth getting just for the strong signal...)

Oh ;) Right. But are they just as good or better? I remember when my friend had her macbook over (3 years old) and it didn't catch.. 3 signals that my Toshiba laptop did:eek: (maybe it's 'cause of the age difference of our laptops..)

If you're not familiar with macs, then I'd go with the VAIO (not worth the hassle! I doubt one or the other have a significant difference in wifi speed :p)

hmm, i think ibm is ugly. Dell is also ugly. so it left me with either vio and mac.

well, toshiba is pretty good too (8everything said). << a friend of mine has toshiba and its wifi is pretty good. Again, tohsiba is too big, i guess.

WIFI is awesome, laptop is horrible! Yes huge and heavy (mines around 8kg , 17" ...) and there are major heating problems (fan is so loud now and it shuts off randomly cause it heats up so bad.. they placed the fan on the bottom of the laptop!!!)

    VAIO
