This is what worries me the most, it will be SO easy for ADVERTISERS to setup a PPA campaing that MOST of them will be like, why pay people for every click when I can pay them only for leads or sales here is a screenshot of how the system will look.
Hi all, this is my first post on this forum and hopefully not the last. I watched this forum for 2 month now, and I like it a lot. Got lots of ideas reading it, and I will join this adsense game soon. I think you should all stop complaining and try to think from the advertiser's point of view. Try to think who pays the money you earn, and why. In my opinion, no one pays just to get visitors to their site. Advertisers simply want to sell, they are happy if they get 2 visitors and one sale, than 1000 visitors and not a single sale. I agree with you saying that it is also up to the advertiser to build a website that sells, but seems like, from now on, it will be up to us to send good quality traffic. So I think in the future, will still be easy to make money for people who have sites with good, original content, and almost impossible for those that think that this business means putting up MFA sites, which bring no value at all to the cyberworld. Best regards, Marius
One thing for sure is, many large comapnies like those that sell products that are not likely to result in instant sell are quite happy that they get a lot of exposure for their products at relatively low cpc. A lot of these people buy offline.
yes after reading about products from online then they are buying it from offline , in that way we are advertising their products for FREE via CPA ads place
This is BSSSSSSS. Google has always paid better through their adsense program for ads that end up converting anyways. Now we will need to trust them on what sales the cookies will make. I dont trust affiliate cookies at all. I am planning on a huge project soon and it wil make tons amd if adsense starts this bs i will pull the ads off and go to a competitor. Qwest yes im sure advertisers love this cause we will be at the mercy of their affiliate cookies and i dont trust that method at alllllll
Mariuspa, sorry if i dont have sympathy for the advertiser. If they want an affiliate program let them go to a site that offers programs for advertisers as affiliates like clickbank etc etc. My future traffic isnt gonna be for free for anyone.
I personally think an element of cpc will remain for a long time to come with google unless they find CPA is working just as well as cpc. Google won't want to lose billions in revenue overnight by switching instantly in case CPA isa disaster.
I think its very bad and will ultimately back fire on many advertisers as there just won't be the incentive for publishers to publish. One of the things that annoys me about affiliate programs is that you can give them leads but because a person disables the cookie or whatever you don't get the sale - so what is the point - if advertisers don't pay a fair amount to publishers many publishers will simply move on to other things and it will result in a poorer internet.
Qwest i hope so, because im putting alot into my project and i will get tonsss of organic traffic soon.
Advertisers will change to PPA since they don't get the assurance that they will have a paying customer on PPC considering that they are paying for it... so basically those advertisers that advertising products that people wont buy on the first look will probably go to PPA
As I heard, Google won't take off CPC completely but just add CPA as a new way for publishers. CPC still exists and publisher can choose, combine the best way to monetize their sites. Just an option and I think it would be good if Google allow publisher to put both CPC and CPA on the same page. Visitor can be converted in one way or another. Adsense had been designed to work altogether with Adword as a partner in their business model. Advertiser may feel good if Google shut down PPC and turn all publishers to CPA, it's good for them but horror stories for publishers. Imagine how many angry publishers that move themselves to another PPC like YPN, MSN or even not use Google CPA but use another CPA affiliate instead like CJ, Clickbank.
I agree to that an extent. If advertisers are getting free exposure than publisghers can make better use of their space by promoting other progrmas. They will promote whats bets for them.
Think again! Ypn and msn always follow after google, They would probably do the same. No advertiser would use ppc when you can make certain sales with pay per action.
