I just need to get this off my chest.! I think articlemarketer.com suxx like hell. Its amazing what sales hype can do to you. I doubt if this show is run by more than 3 people altogether I have my doubts about the the long list of sites they submitted my articles to. Some of the sites they submitted to non´t even exist and some of them are just blogs. If anyone wants to see the list just PM me and I will send it to you The other thing that bothers me is that you receive absolutely no confirmation that the articles were submitted. All you get it is list of about 500 sites which even I could come up with. This system is nightmare. You submit your article and they will find mistakes in it and tell you 1 day after submission that you have to correct the issues. (even if you dont make mistakes they WILL find at least one ) So.....you log in and and edit you article. You receive a mail saying you articles will be reviewed once again but always day later. The biggest flaw about this site is the so called "Diamond Review" and here´s a quote from their site: "Quick, easy, and best of all, they guarantee that every article they write will sail through the Diamond Assurance™ review process" Here is how you will "sail through" their Diamond Assurance Process For example, I submitted one article last thursday and it was written okay. I checked for mistakes and I couldnt find any. The confirmation mail said my article will be reviewed on saturday. On sunday (!) morning I received notice that my article requires editing before it can be submitted. I logged in once more and found the mistake. I wrote didn´t which their system doesn´t accept. Okay...nothing from nothing leaves nothing and I took out the ´ and wrote did not. This morning I received notice that my article will be reviewed once more tomorrow, tuesday !. This doesnt mean it will be submitted...this only means it wil be reviewed. IF it is accepted it will most probably be submitted on wednesday or thursday......ONE WEEK later ! You dont get any options with the "Diamond Review". You have to abide with it. All this system does is draws the whole process out and buys them more time and all that happens in the end is that they send your articles using automated software which I can do myself for less than 10 $ I registered and paid for 3 months at $ 79,00. Be carefull though...this is a subscription meaning you need to cancel if you dont want another 3 months of hell. A big waste of money and a total let down. I wouldnt reccomend this service to anyone. There are far better servies available.
We are on the same boat -I have a life time subscription with them, first time it took them 10 days to activate my account after they requested many proofs that I have paid them - Last week they have disabled my account (May be by mistake as they were doing some upgrade on their system), and after contacting them they renabled it but as unsubscribe, and it is like this for a week not The most important thing is that: 1- They are very slow and demanded to publish any article 2- The don’t feed any big names with articles 3- They have almost no technical support 4- They dont have enough categories and they reject many articles cause the are not in the right category, I have contacted them telling them that I couldnt find a category fits my articles and requested adding one, but no replay and some of my articles are pending for more than a month now 5- I am publishing with many other services and get my article indexed a week before they approve it, so the sites those publish my articles from article marketer will be treated as redundant websites (Duplicate content) So that is why I didn’t renew my term account with them and I am think about not using them any more for my life time one
I used it for some time last year, then quited. Basically, I agree what Infusionx said. It should be a simple procedure, but they make it so complex and frustrating. Many small errors, they should be able to fix it in their system automatically, and should NOT ask authors to correct one error, wait for another review, then tell author there is another error... Now, I'm using Article Post Robot from my PC, and it works pretty well since it can submit different versions of the original article to different article sites and I can add more sites to it too. bear
yeah....I just sent them the most terrible complaint. Heres the best thing; I submiotted this articles last thursday, the same one as I mentioned above. I re-edited the article once again and omitted the "`" and all the other commas and semi-colons their system didnt like and sent it to them ONCE AGAIN. Yesterady I receive notice saying " Your article neeeds some attention before submission". I logged into my account and found absolutely nothing wrong. The only reason they failed my article was due to the fact that I didnt write anything in the HTML authors box. Juts to explain this, after each article you write in the authors box EITHER in plain text or in HTML. I chose to fill in the PLAIN TEXT box. The HTML is just an option. The editors from articlemarketer.com decided that they thought it was important to advise me to use the HTML box because results were better !!. So I have asked them is this a reason to NIT submit my article......because I chose another option ? So far I have received no answer back from them . Instead they tell me they will " re-revise" my article on wednesday ( which was yesterday my time ). I have tried 3 times to contact them and so far I have received nothing. No answer ,....absolutely ZERO. I am not sure whats wrong with these guys at articlemarketer.com but I can give them top points for the worse service on the net.
Hi, I used the service too and this is the most worst service i have ever encountered. No wonder their PR is dropping day by day. If they keep on going like this then they won't last long. Thanks.
The worst part of it is it regularly says to edit my author name....i never changed the original one. So i need to submit the same article several times...means edit several times.
I have a subscription with them that I recently cancelled. I agree with what everyone is saying, if they want to keep their customer base they will need to do some modifying to their system to make it more user friendly and weed out the sites that no longer accept article submissions. Right now I have several articles that are published on a weekly basis and I receive so many emails regarding lists that no longer exist, nothing like going through and deleting 50 or emails.
It seems that AM is deteriorating in it's service or what it seems like they were never good. I submit my articles but only use their free service. I can never track how and where my articles go. On the other hand there is iSnare - they submit to yahoo groups and bunch of other blogs and groups and it is up to the publisher to publish your stuff. For me none of these submission services have done wonders. Mostly it is manual submission to selective 10 - 15 sites and I started seeing steady traffic, rise in BLs and SERPs.
Hi, If a manual submission service is started for $30 for 3 articles per month which will be submitted to 300 directories then is it good ? Thanks.
I used articlemarketer.com before and I have nothing good to say about them. You pretty much nailed every one of my complaints about them on the head. My solution? I'll stick to good old manual submission myself. If you want something done, do it yourself, that's what I say when it comes to automated article submission.
I guess I am in the minority, I use and like article marketer, and I use isnare as well. To be honest I have had very little problems with them. I have to admit that a couple of weeks ago I submitted an article and before it got reviewed it seemed to dissapear from the system, I emailed they never did locate it but I just submitted again. The system does have it's quirks. When writing articles I make sure not to use contractions. Just to make sure I don't a search in word for characters like this " ' " and make sure to remove them. I have never had any of my articles denied and have made it on the first page of google and have made it to as high as the 5th position for some very competive keywords. I didn't see a change in my position until about the 10th article, and after the 15th i consistently stay on the front page and generally I'm higher if I keep submitting consistently. I haven't read anyones articles and I'm not sure about the quality, but I know they do not like articles that are too salesy or gimmicky. I try to work with the system and after about the fifth or sixth article knew the stuff that I was doing to trigger the corrections. I've stopped and I would say about 95% of my articles get through without needing and corrections. As for iSnare, I like them too, but they seem to move way slower than article marketer. It takes forever for distribution. Though I think the service is okay.
Thanx for your input....it seem Im not the only one who has problems with this software. LEYMOM...if its working for you I wish you all the luck. I had my articles proof read for mistakes before submitting them....even then I was told that the HTML box was missing ( although it is an option ). I ve started to use some new software I purchased calles submit suite and althoug it only submits to "powered by article dashbord" sites it works very well if you consider the price. It submits to approx 500 - 600 article sites all in all and is easy to use. I repeat once more though......I will never use articlemarketer.com again. I am still waiting for answers to my last ticket I submitted almost 2 weeks ago.
It is weird that we can be talking about the same company and have vastly different experiences. I personally have toyed with the idea of submitted to only high pr article sites. The first time I used the customer service I was slightly annoyed with the whole ticketing thing, as when I first started using them over a year ago I received an answer from what was probably the owner. I'm chalking it up to growing pains. I'm ready to launch a new site in a competitve niche and am really looking forward to using article marketer in my linking strategy.
Hi, No offence but everyone has their own taste, style and working conditions thats how they write and read. For eg. a shopkeeper tries to luer a customer into his shop by doing several type of gimmicks. So my point is that everyone who is writing article for his website/business want 1 thing i.e to get the customers/visitors to the website. Now if I don't include gimmicks in my articles then no one is interested in my shop/website. For eg. lets say I help reduce weight using hoodia or something similar but if my article is plain and boring which just says decrease your weight or something like that then it won't get the customer's attention. This is where i have to put in some gimmicks like: Reduce weight without exercise etc. etc. So when customer reads it then they feel oh i was lookin for something like this and then they visit the site or buy stuff. I am not spending money on my shop/articles to make article marketeer satisfy. Its not their problem. Its my problem. My motto behind all this is to get customers. Thats it. ArticleMarketeer is only creating problems in the motto. So the article is according to me/my business/service...not according to article marketeer. Hope you get my point. Thanks.
I think AM should list all the rules clearly, and have the program to correct minor typos automatically. And the revised article should have the priority and be reviewed as soon as possible. It just makes no sense to ask users to correct ', then wait several days for another review. Somehow, I have the feeling that they used this to slow down the submission queue, so that they can have more time to distribute the delayed articles. they should hire more people. Of course, this is just my feeling after I was asked to revise my articles several times, I could be wrong. bear
I used to use Article Marketer also and I had nothing but problems. Someone recommened Article post Robot to me a few weeks back. I love the program. Initially, it was a pain to go and register individually at each article directory that I wanted to submit to. But once I got going, it has worked really well for me. I can't recommend it enough and there are no monthly/quarterly fees. John
I sent my article through Articlemarketer and never saw any website with my article posted there. Never used it again. Also it is better not to post the same article to many article directories.
Its seems unaminous. The idea behind articlemarketer.com is good but unfortunately they cant put it into practice. The biggest scam is the "Diamond Assurance". Sounds very imprsssive at first but one look behind closed doors reveals a method used that clearly "slow downs the submission queue". At the most I would guess that ArticleMarketer.com is a 3 or 4 man show at the most. It can take up to 2 WEEKS to acutally get your article submitted. The reason for the so called " Diamond Assurance" is to be able to meet the publishing guidelines of the sites they submit to. If you closely look at the submission guidelines of most of the sites you laugh. The fact that AM doesnt accept apostrophes in their articles (eg. dont´t, won´t, can´t, won´t, shouldn´t) has NOTHING to do with "strict" submission guidelines they referr to. This is in inself a scam. Sounds hard I know......but thats all it is. A good way of slowing your process down in order to buy more time. Article Markerter.com also states they send your article to sites associated with your particular niche. In other words they carefully select the sites to submit your article to according to the theme of your article. I ask then why they managed to send my tinnitus article to a submission site called "dogandcatarticles.com" or "punjabfootwear.com". Just what do these sites have in commen with TINNITUS which is a health related issue?. The reason being escapes me altogether !!
