I love my yahoo mail. It recently acted buggy, but that is only one time in all these years I've been using it. I don't like the way Gmail "looks", however, I do have an account that is open with them for the past few years.. or when ever they first started.. So I do use it now and again.

I like the way yahoo is NOT heavy when the java isn't enabled.. or something. I dont' know what browser setting I had not long ago and Yahoo popped up and said, HEY, you have to use the old yahoo mail because your browser isn't doing "such and such" with java...

In closing, I vote Yahoo mail. :)

Gmail. Yahoo is so much slower to load some days, even on a fast connection.

I love Yahoo but have never tried Gmail. I had Yahoo since I started Online many moons ago, it's like an old friend and I couldn't see not using it. But I like new friends, so because of all the rave about Gmail, I am signing up for an account there. Maybe the wife will leave that one alone. LOL

Well, I don't quite like the way that Gmail tries to link all those related emails together. It is a nice feature but can get messy at times.

I am using Gmail, Yahoo Mail and Lycos Mail. And between the three, I prefer Lycos Mail. Although it is basic, it supports super large attachments. If it gets too big then it will be hosted on their server as a HTTP Download which is pretty neat. Gmail and Yahoo still have limits on the outgoing attachments.

gmail rules, I don't know what I would do without it. I have a backup email account with Yahoo which I like also, their new homepage where you can see the # of new emails you have etc is pretty cool also I have to say....

[rant]Gmail is down as we speak (502 server error), in half of hour I must deliver a sales letter and I need the information from one of the emails there. This is the point where Yahoo becomes my favorite and I will keep all my important mail here.[/rant]

It doesn't matter how many features Gmail has. As long as it is not working, it is only a piece of rubbish.

    Regards, George
