I just saw this site in the review section, and was wondering if THONGS are allowed with adsense? Please note: This is NSFW ( Not safe for work ) http://www.ratethattail.com/index.php Please let me know if this is allowed Thanks in advance
No, I'm 99% sure that is not legal. I was told I could not use adsense when I had some "Girl" videos from youtube. Edit: There's even nudity in some pictures on that site
I heard of someone getting banned for showing pictures of men modelling underwear, so it's definitely a possibility that it isn't allowed. I suppose it depends on how prudish the Googler is that reviews the site. What I can say is I wouldn't risk it myself.
It is allowed in the same way travelling is allowed in the NBA. Some people get away with it and others do not. I have my share of celeb sites. Some with adsense some without. Adsense has asked me to take down some "bathing suit" and "wet tank top" galleries and let me keep plenty of thong bikini shots. They have also let me know that some sites, while in total compliance, they would prefer not to serve ads to, so I remove them. Basically, like everything, it is a question of degree and a question of "luck"
Seems like a good answer... I see the "ads by google " are showing "Thong ads" So at least the ads are related.....So I would guess at this point that if they are serving thong ads its ok to show thong pics..... Maybe Jen sense or google could step in this thread and clear this up...This question is not uncommon I am sure
That's a very unsafe guess One thing people need to remember is that advertisers BUYING ads are allowed to get away with a LOT more than those just SHOWING ads.
There are some celeb gossip or picture sites that always have NSFW pics and seem to have no problem with adsense. Pinkdevil, thesuperficial, etc. They show nipple, boob, outirght nudity, but no problems for them. Other sites with far less get dinged. Like fouls in the NBA, it is a question of what you can get away with. If they don't blow the whistle, was it really even a foul? Likewise, if Google doesn't care, is it really against the TOS?
