I want to register 8-10 domains, but since this is a pretty big $, i was wondering if there is anything besides godaddy or is there any coupon where i can get under 6.95?

    Thank you.

There are a lot of resellers that offer them for $6.89 or so, but for that price, you might as well go with a reputable company like Godaddy.

I would also suggest hostmysite ($2.95). Saved some decent dollars this month on some SEO experiment type domains.

You should remember this link to help manage the domains https://manage.safesecureweb.com/ . They are a Tucows resellers and the hostmysite control panel is useless for changing the nameservers.

You can always transfer them away in the future (after 60 days) to another company.

I would go with netfirms or GoDaddy for the cheapest prices with quality.

Both godaddy and namecheap are reputable companies,I wouldn't use other companies.
The services are more important then prices.

www.HostMySite.com is still offering $2.95 domains through the end of this month if you're looking for a deal (don't take Paypal or allow bulk order though, so you have to process them each separately). I've used them quite a bit, and have never had any problem with them. :) Other than HostMySite's sale periods, I usually register with GoDaddy.

learn from registerfly. they were a cut price operation and look at the problems all their customers have now, because registerfly will be delisted by ICANN on monday. so go with someone who is cheap but good. I use godaddy myself but I've heard good things about namecheap as well.

If they are not experimental then Godaddy. You can use some coupon codes to get a bit lower price.
Otherwise hostmysite is a good one...

If the $60ish is considered expensive for you, you might want to be sure you check out the various domain name registrar's renewal fees as that will hit you right in the face one year from now.

The best bet will be to pick 1 or 2 domain names which you will be definitely developing and forget the rest if they get too expensive for you.
