Do People Buy Links At Pr0 Directories Assuming Its Pr Could Increase

or do they wait for its pr to be good and then only buy it ?

For me it depends ...

1. Price of link PR0 under $10-$20 bucks
2. Owners reputation Most be Trustworthy
3. What mods are installed 3-5 links or atleast details pages
4. Design if its nice... I dont do templateless as thats red flag

if your a new directory and not known that chances are that i wont as you could be one off those...

build today make a few bucks and sell the directory a few weeks later then my purchases went to Hell...

NOW if i know you as a friend and fellow directory owner and you just built the site then depending on
certain factors ill submit to it.

The PR bar is also old news. You can check how many links the site has and the quality of the links pretty quickly. THis will show you if it will have a decent PR0 the next update.

I like looking for sites that currently have a low PR. Sometimes the owner is impatient to make some money and will sell links cheeply, even though they've put a lot into link building.

 

I won't to buy when PR=0.. i will be waiting to the next google update

Also its all mainly depends on the owners reputation who is making that directory. See chris: http://www.bigweblinks.com the buyers there can't be wrong. Coz we are sure chris will get it to max PR very very soon, ofcourse if google allows him to get it soon.

I would never pay for a pr0 directory honestly. I wouldnt pay unless there was at least a pr4. Maybe a pr3 if theres an option for deeplinks.

 

Some directory owners bought a listing in my directory even though it has a PR0. The only thing is if the owners believe that your doing something good for their investment they would not hesitate.

 

For a good potential directory, PR0 doesn't mean much even though I am after it.

Grabing a spot with a low price is like a good deal.

 

If the price is low and the directory owner is highly reputable like Jeff, chris, terryUK amit etc.. - Then its better to grab the oppurtunity before the price hike in next PR update.

 

Yes some buy - Chris and Jeff are two examples of people who buy even once a directory has only just launched, they are more likely to invest in a sitewide though...

As for 'normal' people with slightly less finanical backing - id say yes but based on price and most importantly the reputation of the owner. I'd invest in a PR0 directory if i knew the owner had a proven track record within the directory circuit.

 

Yes it sells. I have experinced If your link building and promotion is noticable , then some webmasters will buy finding you serious with your venture.

 

owners reputation is more important than the pr, because if the owner is reputed, you will get pr on that directory later!
but then different people think in different ways, and if you are having a pr5+ directory, you are sure going to earn a lot of money.

i was having a pr3 directory, which is pr1 after the update. am pretty dissapointed, and am not getting any offers now. so i guess pr is important for most people!

 

I would buy a link on pr0 only if the price was right and after doing some research I saw that the directory is trying to make things happen.

 

We have a website similar to web directory and some people already paid to get their websites listed there even if our website still have PR0.
