I think he converted it after he sold us the "perma link" I notice he did that 2 months ago or so. Hit and Run.

    I paid $2

Submissions are latest there, so it seems it has been lately anncounced somewhere as a PR6 directory. I had seen to many sitewides there now its all disappeared too and listings also.

This directory was PR5 then was PR0 and now I suddenly find it to be PR6. :|

I've always been annoyed by the quick buck artists. All it does it make things more difficult for the honest directory owners and service providers.

If the trade is less than 2 months old you can try to open a paypal dispute.

In my case, he just made excuses for 2 months, I only managed to get refunded after going public.

    i think 60 days passed.

permanent links are very attractive...however usually the seller would sell the website or remove the link one day..

hold up guys.. lets wait 20-30 minutes. i just got off the phone with him.

apparently he was upgrading to 3.1 and he has been posting with a few questions in the phpld supporter forums.
he told me he *did* save a cached page. his categorical structure got fubard, and he didn't have a backup, so he had to redo the structure, which is why the inners are now zeros. he said to give him 20-30 minutes to get the sitewides back up, after which he said he'd call me back.

Think we shld not jump to conclusions too quickly. It seems it is back up, so everybody shld be happy now. I paid $8 for a link too. Sometimes, we shld try to give ppl the benefit of the doubt =)

    Let me explain this completely....

    At that time.......
I was buying massive amount of links spending xxx on links daily.

A week later i started to check back with the reciepts and my links werent found on his site, so
i contacted him back and 1-2 days later they were added. (first time)

3-4 weeks later they disappeared and i contacted him again and then after another few days readded....(2nd time)

for the 3rd time they disappered and I went straight to paypal and tried recieving my funds back and filled a complaint....
we bickerd back and forth for a few days and both got heated and they were finally readded again...(4th time)

3-4 months later the website was redone and i didnt bother to persue as i sat on a PR 4 link for a few months...
so "perminent" is always a nice word but, has different meaning to all of us....

What happened is we both had a bad experiances as we both have different agendas...
Do i think shortd81 is a Ripoff No....

but it will take time again to trust as it was such a nightmare we BOTH went threw...

    thx
    malcolm

I have a sitewide link in his other site but I was not worried. Guy was serious and upfront with his deals. I guess he just RIPPED people who doesn't have TRUST on other PEOPLE as WELL.

TRUST is Important if we want to be UNIQUE.
