This is a very open ended contest - create whatever you'd like with knowing that this logo is for: A forum to discuss and debate politics, both local and global The domain name is politicalfury.com That's it! Put your creative juices to work and lets see what you can do! There isn't a set deadline to this contest as I'll be waiting for a logo that truly catches my eye... lets see what you got!
lol, you're about the 324234235th person to ask him that. I think he's stopped telling people cos everyone he tells uses it for every logo!
I'm suprised no one noticed my typo in the logo, though. World and Global? haha... Obviously, I can change 'World' to 'Local' to make it read 'Local and Global'. I'll do that in a second I guess. DaveyBoy, check out the Manage-IT comp. My whole concept is being copied now, including presentation. An artist has to be creative, not a cheap imitation of somebody they like. Damn, reminds me of teen garage bands trying to 'be' Nirvana, without following up with the shotgun in the mouth. Unfortunately.
Dusty Simple and elegant while incorporating the "theme" on the Y of fury. Do you mind if I ask what font you used? I do think, however, that the devil Y has too much of a negative connotation as this forum will be about how to "improve" the world and that kind of makes it seem "evil spirite" in a way. I'd welcome a brainstorming session Talkaish Your circle with the speech bubble is interesting. If you could take the blue speech bubble and put some green areas on it, as if it were "the world" that would be very interesting. I'm inclined to ask the two of you to combine these elements and split the prize if it turns out good. With Talkaish's globe on the left, Dusty's text on the right, and perhaps the Y of fury somehow interacting with the speech bubble globe. Thoughts on this gentlemen/ladies? I was most impressed by these two but will provide others with a response - i do appreciate everyone's entries: Mitch I like the use of fire but the gavel doesn't work for me and I think the logo in general is a bit "scattered" in looks and theme. Sniper Good thinking on the fire as well. The colors however, don't really stand out enough and the globe with the paragraph and pen are a bit "scattered", too. Fidel Too dull although the seperation of political and fury looks good. I think the necktie would be more suitable for a business forum though Retz Same as Mitch Tropica & Corky A bit too basic for my tastes Hope this helps!
Dusty 1) The earth is too realistic looking. Two solid colors, blue (water) and green (land) with the "cartoon dialogue bubble" in the middle. Also do not like the white absent space between the earth and text. 2) Still have the devil pitchfork on the Y. Do you think it would look good to swing it around, have it underline the sub text, and have it end as the palm of a hand with the "world" sitting in it? Lemme know Rob
