Logo Contest $100 Paypal. 5 Days.

Greetings all,

I need a logo for "Manage-IT". There is a dash in the domain name (www.manage-it.ca) so any logo design element you choose to include might well be put in place of the dash.

The business is in IT Consulting and network services. Colour scheme should be professional - not wildly over the top. Think friendly, personable, but gets the job done.

Deliverables: Illustrator format, maximum of 3 colours - this will be used in different media, so less is more. Gradients probably wont work. Logo should not be more than 3x as high as it is wide.

Payout: $100 USD Paypal, not negotiable.

(No, private messaging me and offering to do it less expensively is NOT a good way to win)

what size of logo? 468x60?
do you need a small banner also for links exchanges and or small menu logo?
I would like to see the site so i can use its colors to be exact, illistrator format only?

 

I believe yes ( for printing purposes ) and less color may save the cost.

"Illustrator format" so I assume you want a Vector type logo?

 

Is there any possibility not to be illustrator format, but hi-res .psd?

I can do it at a high resolution in Photoshop, so that you can print up to A3 width. Would this be good enough? Let me know and I'll enter.

That's 3508pixels across and 1/3 of that down at 300dpi, that's about 1 and a half widths of A4 paper at full resolution and print quality

 

may enter as well, but i cannot use illustrator, so mine will either be a high res psd, or pspimageif i enter

Hi to all that have entered or asked questions. Yes, I will be happy to look at high res .psd files. Both I and my partners will start to look at logos tomorrow - I'm beat and am going to bed.

To answer the question about time limit, I posted "5 days" in the subject line, and would like to be 90% towards picking a winner by that time. That means Thursday, for those of you without a calendar

An immediate note to those who are using gradients - PLEASE post with AND WITHOUT gradients. This logo will be used in silkscreening and embroidery and while I have no problems with a gradient logo on a website, it has to translate well to other media.

Be CREATIVE, stop copying everything I do. You copied the whole thing but a different font and colour. Even the inner glow to present it!
