I need quotes on converting my site and it's template (which is pretty basic) over to Drupal. I have too many issues with Joomla, such as pictures do not work and then sometimes they do. Quite frustrating. The URL is here you can see the components using (not really many). The directory does not need to be converted. I want to try to keep the same SEF URlS though as many have PR. www.mypet-memorial.net Thank you for your time.
The issue with the images may be your mos config ive site. If your mos config live site is http://www.yoursite.com but you logged into your site via http://yoursite.com you will have a problem with teh SEF and images when editing content..
Actually, I believe I want to move it to Drupal and get away from Joomla. I have a vb license I will probably add to the site eventually. Anyone have any quotes on this conversion? Can also offer a lifetime PR footer link with it.
why would you want to do this? if there is an issue in joomla, its usually a pretty simple one. especially one involving pictures not displaying. i have a great programmer i use for all joomla sites (currently at 37). He is from Turkey, speaks great english, and no other person i have ever hired to do work for me can match his knowledge, swiftness, and dedication. There hasnt been one thing he couldnt fix or develop for me on any site. i dont mean for this to be an infomercial, but if you want his contact info, PM me and ill gladly give it to you. in my experience in working with every OS CMS out there, since the inception of mambo, joomla! still reigns supreme and always will
Thank you for your response. Will send you a PM. I have had a few people look at the site and they can not get it to function right. I would glady pay to have it corrected and to function, as I know Joomla.
i replied with the programmer's contact info. im POSITIVE he will be able to fix any issues you have.
see! and you wanted to go through the long, pain in the butt process of switching CMS's! if you ever need any !joomla work, you know who to contact, and im glad to be of help.
