Dont plan your site only for the users, plan for the search engines as well... get more content along with images as well...

The design looks Ok to me but its a lil dull... sharpen up a lil bit..

The font style is good and the tabs are nice..

Is there any point really thinking about the search engines that much, you might put some keywords, but generally portfolio sites are 90% images, you arent trying to rank for anything???

I think using common fonts (like arial) would be better and easier. You can try using 11pt Tahoma font, it really is nice

 

I liked it. But it really depends on what else you do with it to fill it out. For a portfolio site I'd get your picture in there somewhere - and in a way that's integrated with the design.

 

It`s too greenish to me, also would like to see some text to be able to recognized if it`s even readable. What color will text have?
