Can't get a single ad approved

I can't get a single ad approved for this one AdWords account. I've tried writing new ads, copying existing ads directly from the SERPs, and live chat support. The live chat support person said that my ads fell within the ad content policy and that they would see to it that my ads were approved. This never happened. Any ideas on where to go next to get my ads approved?

    thx,

What kind of website are you trying to make the ads for?

It's usually the website that makes them disprove the ad.

Have you tried any other websites?

    Email them again.

Hmmm. It is a legit store. It's not going to a landing page or anything like that. What really puzzles me is that the account has one approved ad for a few months before I took over managing it.

No, there is only one site associated with this account.

I'm going to call them tomorrow.

Can you link me to your landing page? Thats a huge factor in keyword approval I've found. Do you have any SEO on your page?

I just called Google. I have to say that I was pretty skeptical that they would be very accommodating. They were apologetic and helpful.

It turns out that there were some words on my landing page that set off some red flags. I explained them and Google agreed that these do not violate the TOS. Looks like all this took was a phone call.

    Great news!

I've had a really good response from google the few times I've been in contact with them.

They've even been kind enough to warn about adsense policies.
Instead of just closing my account they told me what was wrong and gave me a short time to fix it. Now I won't give them a reason to contact me again.

    Regards,

You need to read the terms very carefully - Google are very careful on what ads they will accept

If you ad is not accepted it will say in the members area what the reason was. You then need to remove the offending words or ask for an exception. You dont got through the normal support prcedure for this, its actually done through the members area itself on the page where you administer your ads

My situation had nothing to do with ad text. It had to do with words on the destination page involving firearms. Once I explained to Google in a phone call that the site does not sell actual firearms they corrected their mistake.

Yes, winningratings, it will say in the members area why the ad was not accepted to a point. The descriptions, while helpful, are also quite nebulous.

My situation was unique. I was getting unacceptable content descriptions on disapproved ads that I had copied from other approved ads on Google. I had to call G to find out that the ads were in fact ok it was the destination page they had issues with. So in that case there was no way to know why the ads were disapproved because the members area didn't say "change your landing page."

The moral of the story is that if you are having trouble with ads just call Google. I found their phone support to be great. My issue was resolved within 48 hours of calling them.
