Hmm. I submitted this: http://digg.com/tech_news/The_Top_10_Underrated_Web_2_0_Sites about 6 hours ago, and much to my pleasant surprise it's gotten 38 Diggs since then. However, it's not on the front page, which is also surprising because I though 30 was the magic number to get to the front page. Any ideas on this or what? Rep given for good responses.
I think it matters in how much time your going to get those diggs. When its submitted and you get like 30 diggs right away then its going to get on the front page. - Prilep

the magic number is 50, You need atleast 50 diggs to get to the homepage Till now only 2 of my stories have reached the homepage
