Doesn't DP have a plug-in already? I remember there being one for searches.

One FF plugin was infact made but it was so crappy no one used it, and 2 -3 days later a trojan was found in it..

    I wouldn't recommend this.

Are you recommending not to install my plugin because of a virus you found in a totally different plugin?

For those wondering. It's basically a menu to digital point from your context menu and toolbar. No virus or ads or anything deceitful. ;) It's a very clean code so it wont screw up firefox or any other plugins. I don't know how practical it is but I gave it a shot. Here are a couple screen shots. Hopefully at least one of you will appreciate it. :)

I am not recommending this because a 3rd party system will be handling and delivering data to you.

This data can and will be tampered and you might end up on a dp phished site where you might buy something, and can get scammed.

This is more then likely to happen.

 Dude are you being serious? If you're that paranoid you can easily look at the code yourself. There are no 3rd party referrers or anything like what ever you're talking about.
Clicking a link inside the extension is no different then clicking this link here. http://forums.digitalpoint.com/

By the way. For anyone who tried this, should I set the button to open links in the current tab or leave it like I have it by opening new tabs. :)

Yes i am serious, specially if you are the one offering it.

    1. You are new
    2. You have hardly 50posts
    3. Almost no rep
    4. Nearly 3 months on the board
You are the last guy ill take something from and install on my pc as a plugin to a place where i go to make money.

And to all other people, think about it...why doesnt shawn use compiled scripts on dp? the same reason im not supporting this cause "You do not know whats being tampered with"

    And on a further note.

Digitialpoint does NOT take responsibility for any 3rd party plugins/modules that might involve querying digitalpoint, as the data could and might be tampered with throgh the 3rd part plugin.

If you still want to use the plugin, go ahead.
