    I want to know if I copy primary Sub Categories from Dmoz that wont destroy my future SE rankings?

    Much better option is to build your own category index be creative be unique
    It will set you apart as you will have a differentiator

    you should be alright as long as your content is "identical" if you literally copy-paste dmoz... you could be seen as a mirror... and SE's do NOT like this. People have tried many many times to mirror sites to gain heavy search engine from quality stolen content - only to find their pr gets dropped or they get sandboxed.

    it is not that hard to come up with your own structure. Why copy?

    Hohoho-- I like that. i am a lazy asshole too. Got one directory --ready for launch --but can't find myself working on the categories-- though I promised myself to work on that today:p and launch it tomorrow. Have some holidays --during following week:D

    It's not really too much trouble, start with a foundation of categories and have a contact page. People will let you know the category they want. Thinking outside the box is good, look at Forplex for a really unique category structure which is successful.
