I do not watch news channels mostly. But when I was browsing channels this morning I heard in star news that the security has been tightened in the houses of Indian cricketers. I've never seen anything like attacking the crickets house and blaming each individuals for loosing a game. Do you think its good, fare to blame each individual player and attack them. What actually I didnt like is fans attacked ms dhonis house when bangaladesh defeated india last time. I am sure I will see something like that again . I must see aaj tak today.

dhoni's house was attacked. but then it was dhoni's new house which was underconstruction. i used to go there and see the progress, and the walls were being made at that time.
that day, people, generally the political party people, kicked and destroyed a part of the wall. it was shameful behiviors. also heard that those people are banned from there parties now.
anyways, cricket is too much for india:)

In India, cricket is like a religion to many people. If the players play well, they are hero worshipped. If they don't, effigies are burnt, morchas are taken out, and people's houses are burnt and stones are pelted.

Clearly, being a cricketer in India is not an easy job

Cricket players are like gods in india. they have fans and much crowd attratction. if they are accepting the good side , they have to accept bad side too. one pathetic innings in wrong time will make things turn back to them. if they can' t accept it don't dream to become a cricket star nor try to. nobody blame if they played well and loss. defeat against bangladesh is unacceptable. what an irresponsible game played by indians.

i can' see any wrong doing that, - coz they attacked their asset (not thier families) which made from cricket and from every ppl who is watching cricket and paying money for tickets. let some of thier asset loss coz of pathetic playing.

So if you make a bad post or an error on one of your websites, would you see any wrong in me coming over to your house and destroying your PC or hacking your web site???? :D

I can pay $10 to watch a baseball game in Anaheim and a players house would cost well over $1,000,000 so you think it's OK to "attack his assets" if he boots a grounder or goes downs swinging?

if its just a bad post or little error who cares?
but if its some harsh language which humiliate you or some harsh language insult everyone, what is the wrong if you destroyed my pc ;)

pathetic batting they didn't even try to play a good shot, atleast if they play well and loss it everyone can understand. they don't have time to do it, busy with displaying thier ads in the TV instead of practicing.

I think people should only take Cricket as a game, nothing personal and being too emotional is total stupidity. Every one should show some sportsmanship/spirit. If a team plays well and wins then we should appreciate them rather being abusing them and calling them .....................

I guess there similar to the Pakistan fans, after Pakistan lost to Ireland there fans were rioting on the streets and burning effigies of the coach and chanting for him to die. They seem to go over the top in these countries.

I think people are going mad but it is not good to go to the players families and homes and attack them for the failures of the players...
The family members of the players are not able to live independently.
Also, the indian players really played very bad in the matches against bangladesh and sri lanka but people should not explain their anger in this way.

I don't think India was ranked all that stongly. I saw them ranked as 4th best and winning a little over half their games. This is a bit like a US soccer fan being disappointed with the US team not making it out of group. I was hoping they would but expected they might not.
