Uh Oh ! Can you specify the line from the T&C that outlines this ? BTW, the code i was saying is : <div style="visibility: hidden;"> Write something here. You ads will be relavant to what you write here. </div> Code (markup):
From the Google AdSense Program Policies: AdSense participants are not allowed to alter any portion of the code or change the behavior, targeting, or delivery of ads. AdSense publishers are required to adhere to the webmaster quality guidelines posted at http://www.google.com/webmasters/guidelines.html. From the Google Webmaster Quality Guidelines: Avoid hidden text or hidden links. This is pretty vague and you could make a good argument to get around it -- but do you really want to take that chance? As soon as a competitor reports you for using hidden text, you could be penalized in the Google SERPS -- and who cares about AdSense when you have no traffic?
I think you just have to wait until google crawls your site. Thats how mines where until google crawled it. - Prilep
Here is my in my header (page, not my head) : <div style="visibility: hidden;"> call, call center, projects, process, bank account, india, outsourcing </div> Plz check..
The solution is to add content. Real content. If you want an ad on this particular page, add a blurb that describes your site to this page.
really??actually the ads are usually changing...on my blog it change from related to my site to not...
A blurb is a short piece of text -- a few sentences or a few paragraphs. In a forum, the posts and theads are content. The category names are also content. I don't know your forum software, but you should be able to add a few paragraphs about your forum to that page as easily as you added the AdSense code.
Content are all forum and topic related... Let me wait for few days to see if google shows some targetted ads...
Depending on what your forums are, it shouldn't be too hard to add a brief introduction to your homepage about your site. You can then use the targetting code (found in the help section when you login to your account on the AdSense site) that uses the "ad_section_start" and "ad_section_end" tags around that description to tell the ads to only read that text. I believe it may also help if the title tags reflect what is in your site. When I tried putting ads on my forums, it kept coming up with things to do with the the title tag and the website address. Hope that helps.
