Western Union or Xoom?

I am selling e-gold weekly amounting to 3000-5000$ weekly. But most of my customers want to pay via epassporte. But I prefer cash. What do you think is more cheap and more secure? Xoom or Western Union. I also wanna buy e-gold using either of them so please let me know. I am from vietnam.

 

Xoom is more convenient and cheap as compared to Western Union in any case although it accepts only paypal funds and US bank account cheques.
Also as far as I know cash isn't accepted by Xoom as it doesn't has offices everywhere and is only an online merchant.

If you want to buy or sell e-gold you will have to find a third party exchanger.

Xoom is not available to most of the countries, but westerunion is available to almost all countries.

 

Xoom is cheap compare to WU. But Xoom accepts US Cheques, US Accounts and US issued Credit Cards. And you receive the money to your bank a/c.
Where as WU accepts cash/ credit card in some countries but the transaction charges are high.

 

WU fee is too high for 3k-5k. Why not consider wire transfer?

 

Just compare there fees and choose the best one . Both are okie types as Xoom transfers money directly in bank and WU has many offices available throughout the world .

 

I like more Xoom because is very good integrated with Paypal. Is very easy to use and the fees seems lower than WU

 

I don't know when I got paid more than $3k via WU I paid $100 for commission, is it high ?

 

Xoom is cheaper but I think WU is safer.

 

WU is safer i think and WU is very popular in developing country like vietnam and China

 

Xoom is a lot cheaper but Western Union is much more available anywhere.

 

I'm not saying that Xoom is not safe... I just think that WU is safer.

I've done several transactions using Xoom and WU already.

 

WU is safer IMO because they're more well known and are a larger corporation. If you're looking for convenience, WU is the way to go (like stated above, there are several locations all over the world, even in Vietnam)
