Hi Any software known to compile email lists

    Hi

I need to email loads of people in the boating and fishing industry to promote my services. Short of going into their websites and finding their contact details, is there any software that can be used to compile these lists?

Also any recommended companies which can send bulk emails would be appreciated..

    Thanks

Tried this software and works well. All you need to do is put a list of websites to look for and you can extract all the emails.

    Site: h ttp://www.webextractor.com/

As for companies sending bulk mail, that you'll need to ask someone else :)

You can sign up for opt in ezines pertaining to your industry. These are lists of subscribers who have volunteered to receive emails about certain topics.

You might want to steer clear of spamming people.

I think it would be illegal to send them messages if they haven't agreed to receiving messages. I would also look at the CAN-SPAM Act. It also depends where you live.

    Hi,
    Thanx Kev for the recommendation.
However, we do not allow sending bulk mail using email addresses extracted/harvested from websites using email extractors. That is considered spamming. We only allow you to import existing users that had originally double opt-in to your list. If you meet the criteria, we can host your mailing list.
    Take care,
    Calvin

Harvesting email addresses from websites and then spamming them is going to be a waste of time. If you want to legitimately contact them, you need to visit the sites individually and use a contact form if present.

You can probably hire someone (or a few someones) to do this for you to send personalized messages to open a line of communication with those interested.

I'd have to agree with previous comments. You don't want to waste time harvesting e-mail addresses this way, even if it sounds really tempting. It works 1,000 times better to contact them individually and make it personal if you have a business related proposal ... but don't just try to sell your stuff to them if that's what you're doing (again, I'm not quite sure what you are trying to do).

I don't think you understand what I am trying to say. I have loads of email addresses already for people signed up to hear more about my sites etc - I want to send them all a newsletter, I want each newsletter that would appear to be personalised. What should I use?

Autoresponders like AWEBER and GETRESPONSE would be the best but they are going to ask you reconfirmation process for your current list

Try CCmail , set it up on your website, so that people can signup for newsletters & you can send them mails any time you want.
