5000 unique first-time visitors = how much money?

Ok, I have 5000 unique first-time visitors daily that I can drive to any specific site I create. If I had a good niche and a good CTR, what could my potential top end earning be on a daily basis? I want to set a high goal for myself for a future site I'm thinking of building.

Please don't reply with "it depends on your niche" because I know that already. I am looking to see what people are maxing out at with 5000 uniques.

it depends on your niche

 

lol jking - i would say $25-50 is fair game for a your "regular" niche

 

if they were well targeted visitors (from search engines) and you would have had a great template and high ctr (at east 15%) and relatively good niche (not games, or tree hugging..), it could be $300/day, but if this is a arcade site and ads are poorly places, you'd probably be happy with $1 per day..

 

$25-50 is a reasonable estimate.
However if your 5000 visitors land on a page they don't expect or are not interested in, they will not click on your adds and you might just get $1-2 a day.

Could you clarify how you would get 5000 uniques to any site you choose as it sounds either very expensive (advertising) or a bit dodgy (pop ups, etc)

If you have 5000 random visitors you can't get much. The real money is in targeted traffic.

Given a very untargeted traffic nature, I'd say porn is your best bet, not AdSense.

 

I really don't think you can say how much you could earn because it is all about the value of your clicks.

I have a site which is gaming related www.HuxleyGame.com and that gets anything from 700 -2000 uniques a day but it does not always tell me how much money I will end up with.

Some clicks can be $0.01 and my best value click has been of what I know anyway was $1.75

My friend has a fishing site and gets around 500 uniques a day and make around $20 a day

 

This again depends on the niche, how likely people will click an ad, etc. CTR can vary greatly depening on the content.

 

Do you know the nature of these 5000 unique first-time visitors? If you do not, you better figure this out before you can try any estimation. If you do, why not just try it, it should just take you half hour to copy and paste the google code as a quick start.

 

Yup, there is no way anyone can come up with a solid number. It depends on quite a few different things.

 

I've removed adsense from all of my sites and I'm thinking you would be better off with some other ad service. I wish some of my affiliates where getting those numbers regularly. My store fluctuates around 1.0% conversion rate, so I would kill for 5000 extra visitors per day to see if that conversion rate stands up.

Targeted traffic is great, but getting that many visitors per day is a good place to start. Building consist traffic, targeted or not, can be tough. You numbers are probably not so good for adsense, but the other services will probably make you some good money.

 

The reason I ask is because I can pay $100 to have 5000 highly targeted visitors come to my site (through a deal with an executive at a high-tech advertising company). I can target any niche I would like for roughly that $100 price. It's legitimate but I'd rather not give more details on the company because it's a special deal. It's through a company with over 300 employees, so it's not something bogus. I am free to do this as many times as I wish.

So I guess my question comes down to this: Can I make a profit off of that $100? Can I turn that $100 into $250 with good targeting, US traffic, for Yahoo or Google ads?

This definitely depends on a ton of stuff to really make a good estimate. However, if done correctly, I'd say $300-$500 a day is a good max, plus you could sell links/banner space for $800-$1200 a month. On a min, I'd say around $30.
