Adpuster: If you take a poll of people who aren't DP users, then I think you might get a 40-60 split on people who have read their TOS. It actually took me a little while to find DP.

Furthermore, if I didn't answer already why I'm p.o.ed at the manner of talk then you haven't read the rest of the thread. Read the rest of my previous post. I'm sick of explaining this too a bunch of grumpy people who are so concerned about their earnings that they feel a little guy on the net who may not have read his TOS is the cause of their problems.

I don't think he's angered that a cheater would get caught. I think in general whiners just tend to set other peoples teeth on edge.

The amount of money this poor sap is making is nothing compared to the amount being made by people churning out machine generated crap MFA pages that they are then in turn spamming the hell out of.

Yet they act like they've saved the world from corruption and evil cause they outed some poor sap who probably just happens to be stupid? Give me a break.

    hey he's got a point

what if jack and joe are rivals and joe decides to put jack's adsense codes in MFA sites/ sites that violate TOS? and then you guys would be reporting an innocent guy!

They both need to go. These types seem a lot easier to get rid of because they are committing blatent violations. Not reading the TOS...No excuse. Being stupid...No excuse. Someone who sets up a site like the one we are discussing is obviously not serious about the program and thinks it only a means for a quick buck and needs to be removed.

The actual money is not an issue to me...it's the quality of the program and how it is being undercut by moronic sites like we see in this example. For adwords advertisers, they have a legitimate gripe about the money so don't call it whining.

I am an AdWords customer, and I can honestly say that there is no way that this guy, or anyone else who breaks the rules out of just not knowing what they are doing, is making even a minuscule dent in the scheme of things.

It is whining. While legally it may be true that ignorance is no excuse, morally there's a world of difference between someone making a mistake and someone knowingly ripping off advertisers.

Taking the time to point out this guys website to AdSense customer service is well within line of being responsible. Posting a thread with the sensationalistic attention seeking title of "Omg! Another Cheater Caught!!" is childish. Patting each other on the back about how you are making the world a better place by dissing this guy in public forums? C'mon.

It's still breach of contract on the part of the publisher. As I said, it undermines the entire program. Happens enough and more and more advertisers will go to search only advertising.

Did that confuse anyone else? What was that?

Anyway, to recap, there are always going to be abusers such as that website. We can't all be angelic figures who pity the poor advertisors. There are some people who believe they can get away with it.

That was Mike's response from Google after reporting it...at least that's what I'd bet my bottom dollar it is. From the tone of the post by the site owner, I think we can rule out naive first-timer who didn't read TOS.
