    Hi all,

I see so many banned users on DP. What's the reason?

    Thank you.

The scientific term (i believe) for the reason people get banned is "for being muppets"

People get banned in DP if break the rules. Such are breaking the posting guidelines and creating a duplicate account.

I guess it's because they don't take the time to read the faq to know "How / Why do people get banned on DP ?" :)

At least one moderator has replied in this thread. (not me)

I can't add anything except to say the answers you have been given are 100% correct.

Follow the faq and you will never be banned.

I am noticing a lot of people are being banned, many of them are with 1500+ posts and 50+ itrader and good reputation .. i wonder, even older people still make silly mistakes and get banned?

Mistakes are expected from a newbie, but older ones? quite odd.
