Exchange links with DP people who operate sites of similar interest. Also, since you now have twenty five posts, link back to your site in your signature area additional backlinks.

Ask people who have sites with relevant content to link to you (you can provide a reciprocal link as enticement) I would do it individually so the request is more personal than just a group spamailing

Submit your site to dmoz and/or similar sites.

You can increase your back links through directory submissions, link exchange, template sponsorships and submitting to article directories. :D

Using link:mysite.com does not show all backlinks and sometimes it will show no backlinks. That doesn't mean you have that many. Google does not show an exact amount or show everything that it knows. You could try using Google Webmaster Center to see a larger example (although it still doesn't show all the links Google knows of).

I find that using Yahoos Site Explorer gives a much better picture on what links there are.

I have gone to relevant categories in DMOZ, visit the websites, and request backlinks this way. I have received a few good "root" backlinks on PR3+ websites this way.

You can collect backlinks by applying off-page techniques...
