not too keen on the green, but with some content it might look alot better.

Because gif pics will not decrease the real quality of your work.

 

It's to simple. Not that simplicity is a bad thing, I personally like simple. But it's simple in a manner of boredom. Spruce things up a bit, get some nice color combinations (currently it reminds me of a tree...). Any maybe do something more with your logo, right now it seems to just be text.

 

Do you do any planning when designing a site, or do you just sit infront of the computer and see what happens?

When I'm stuck for ideas I just search the web to get inspiration, whenever I find a site with something i like about I bookmark the site, I've got about 500 sites saved.

Heres a start, template websites. Look for porfolio themed ones.

it's too simple and i dont like the colors :O

 

well i guess i should start planning from now on before startin any design

 

It's quite nicely put up, however I think you can improve the design by:
1. Adding some gradient, if not it'd look pretty dull.
2. Enhance it by using more colors, instead of just green all over the place.
3. The design should be of better quality, it looks kinda compressed now.
