Plenty of clicks but no revenue!?!?

    Hey guys quick question,

I'm receiving clicks yet under my account page it still shows 0.00 for todays earnings. The site is brand new and still under construction, yet despite this I received 9 clicks the other day and still no pay out? Could the fact that my account is so new play a role in this??

    Thanks,
    Jason

Yes. New accounts = public service ads = no cash for your clicks.

Are you saying my feedback isn't good? No point rambling when a succinct answer will do!

I don't actually see any PSAs when I look at it - maybe your problem has just fixed itself? What I do see is a dire lack of content - AdSense is not meant to be placed on empty sites. Bulk it up or you risk offending Google.

This is interesting... How old does the site need to be before the public service ads go away? My adsense account is like 8 months old, but the website is less then a month. I make very minimal! Any advice? Thanks... Nicolas

It doesnt take more then a few mins after you place the code on a new site. The delay is occured coz google dont have any clue what the content is on your pages so thier adsense bots crawl your pages and then you start getting relevant ads but all this should not take more thne a few mins.I have seen a few sites take longer but I dont know why.

Get more traffic. The topic needs to be relevant to the visitors to get relevant ads. Like a cow, you can bring it to the river but you cannot force it to drink. Visitors just click as and when they want to, you cannot make them click. More traffic just bring more possibilities of people clicking your ads, it just does not guarantee anything.

Don't resort to adsense income for survival. I see it as more a nice pocket change to cover part of the cost of running the site. Well, sometimes you get lucky and someone click on the high paying ads. Overall, it is no way of making a living from it.
