What programs do you use to open .psd files?

 

adobe photoshop is what the made in, but many graphic progams will open them

 

I tried everything from Paint to IE. They all say it doesn't support these files. Do you know any specific programs?

 

image programs, Paint would be like trying to open a word file in notepad

psd stands for photoshop document so that is why you cant view it on the internet or on paint.

For Open .psd file format- Adobe Photoshop is the best.

iv herd gimp can open them....

 

Yes GIMP can open them too. It is not as good as Adobe PhotoShop , but it is Free which is what matters. http://www.gimp.org/

Anyway, for those using Adobe Photoshop CS2 , I just came to know CS3 beta version has been released.

 

I think .psd can be only read by photoshop. At least thats how i think it is.
