Anybody read Definitive Guide to Google AdWords (Perry Marshall)? I'm looking for something a little beyond the typical advice of setting up ad groups, using tightly focused keywords, etc., etc. Any thoughts? Waste of money?
I like his book, but to be honest just from what you've written down you might know 90% of what's in it. I think I learned the most from his advice on ad copy. It's hard to say how much you'll get from it. I think it's probably one of the better Adwords ebooks out there though and his email updates are nice. YMMV.
Read Affiliate Project X and Day Job Killer for more advances techniques, but I don't think you'll use em anyway.
These 2 ebooks will not really give you that much more knowledge compared to Perry Marshall's ebooks. Save yourself some money. Christoph
The 2005 techniques in Definitive Guidestill can be use As for Affiliate Project X and Day Job Killer they stress more on copy writting the ads, which i find it very usefull Some of marketers don't write thier ads very well which causes CTR drop. And i must say copy writting is what makes your product sells. Go ahead and see DJK and APX sales page, its huge. And this what makes Chris a milllionaire. Romico
Im sorry i was mistaken!!! Wrong ebook ... I have so many. Yes this guide (2005 version) is very good. I think DJK and DGGW are both equal in value.
