Where did you get your skin package, because I just want to do one download, install and be done with it. I really don't want to go through windows blinds and etc. and have to download a lot of other stuff...

you need over a 2.0ghz cpu and at least 1g of ram....that is bare minimum....I would give MS 6 months to work out some bugs before switching...

2 gb ram should be good. also a vedio ram will be nice. but then i suggest you to wait, till a service pack comes in. as there are a lot of softwares that are still not comfortable with vista!:D

As with all new OPs, i'm waiting for at least 6 months - 1 year before even considering updating - i'll probably just buy a new PC with Vista already installed

min 2gig ram, take all the windows out the room the pc is in, then you wont have to replace them when you toss the pc out the window. send the cat to a foster home, or you'll kick it and get charged for abuse.
give ya best mate all the keys to the gun rack, move away from that cliff top house, and tell the wife to buy life insurance.

I have it on my new lappy, 1.7 Ghtz, 80 G harddrive, 1 G of RAM, onboard graphics (which is crap, I mean really really crap), all fancy graphics turned on, runs fine, loads programs quickly, blah blah blah, works fine for me.

The one problem is that half of my favourite games don't work :(

The backwards compatibility is awful. If you have software that you need and it doesnt specifically say it will work with Vista than most likely it will not.

So if you need older software, NO
