What's the fastest method to get 1000 uniques/day from Google?

What you are asking is a question which everyone asks when starts his endeavors in the online business, then eventually spends some cash on google adwords in hope to make the big bucks, then gets disapointed for losing e.g. $1k and starts reading through the real stuff.

My advice is skip the part with spending the cash on adwords, as it is way too expensive. Study a bit on how to create a high quality website which is more competitive than the others instead. Then build your own marketing strategy which is tailored towards reaching your preliminary set of objectives. The objectives must be in compliance with your capabilities, otherwise you are facing the risk of losing time and money. And if you are asking me you should target yourself to a keyword which brings no more than 5mil resluts in google.

I learned that working online is nothing different than working any other job. It takes time, constant effort and alot of creativity. It also takes networking and social activity.

If you however really want to get thousand uniques asap, I would advise you to go for adwords content network.

I've been getting most of my traffic from free ads. Just 8 months ago, I started getting organic traffic from msn, then yahoo. Now finally google. But it's far from 1000. I'm wondering how many sites that actually depend on organic traffic?

 

PPC is design to increase your traffic through advertisements. So how can it lower your traffic when you advertising your site to google. It is by far the most effective way of increasing your traffic but still depends on the keyword that you choose.

2) You sell products or services that have a very low margin.

3) You have a very low budget. You're not willing to spend up to $500 monthly in the campaign.

4) If you can write very well and can discipline yourself to do 5 articles daily. In that case, you should invest your time and money in article marketing. You'll get superior results.

5) If you want to keep getting ongoing traffic without doing further work. PPC's stop delivering traffic the moment you stop paying.

6) If you can hire a good writer to write good articles for you at less than $10 per article. In this case again, article marketing will produce better return on investment.

7) If you are willing to take some time out to build free traffic from search engines.

 

Well if you have time to learn SEO then definitely youll have time to learn SEM. If you want to have a 1k traffic or more in fastest way possible.(This is the thread makers question isnt it?)

Why would you sell something that targets low margin? Still this is not a proof that PPC lowers your traffic.

It also depends on what you are selling. For example you are selling couffin, is there anyone who wants to buy a couffin online? I dont think so! SO why sell it online?

If you target the right keyword youll get more than 100% revenue increase. If youre targeting non competitive keyword then youll bid to a keyword that has low price value.

That is a case to case scenario. Still it is not the fastest way to get 1k traffic from google.

Its a PPC management issue. What makes you so sure that your targeted keyword will stay on #1 or even first page of google's SERP? If you're getting a lot of traffic and revenue like 100% increase you'll probably wont stop investing on PPC.

Depends on the keyword and the search engine. You would not know if that article will be visible in google serp untll its there. ALso you need to wait for atleast a month before you get the traffic you want.

You mean from google? If in spamming well yes, youll get the traffic you expect but youll have to wait in more than a week. Still it does not dpeat how fast google PPC can bring you traffic.

Try checking for my site's alexa overview without PPC. My site's alexa overview is 35,000+ when it still contains PPC, we never do spamming for a moment.

 

Adwords is the only way you'll get 1k visitors quick...

 

I'm seeing a big increase just by writing good content and the aging effect. The past few weeks I've been averaging 300-400 Google hits per day, which seems pretty good. I can't answer "how to get to 1,000", as I've never done any SEO work for my own site.

 

The fastest way is to start with a website that gets 10,000 uniques a day, and wait for the next algorithm update.

Seriously, most overnight sucesses take years of preparation. If you are starting from scratch, you need to pay your dues.

 

Yup the paying your dues is the hardest part to get your head around. My site has been open almost a year and I'm just not getting things clicking on all cylinders. The positive side is that Google may have spam sites above me, but they usually get weeded out soon enough.

You can make A LOT of money online, but it takes work and A LOT of patience, maybe a little luck too. If patience wasn't such a huge part of the equation, then there would be no one to wait my tables or bag my groceries.

1000 uniques/day it is my goal of year 2007

 

Everyone talks about using adwords, but it really depends on if you are selling products or services. For example, if you are selling jewelry I would recommend adwords, but using adwords for website design IMO is a total waste of money.

keyword: be patient, publish one post everyday

 

Do something scandalous and put it on your site. But it's not easy to beat the greatest idiots on the net

 

More high PR backlinks, fresh content, SEO'd pages and clean code.
