I'm totally new to Adsense. I'm just now starting to add codes to my site. On one of my pages it has a long list of recommended services which are catagorized. I thought of adding a thin google ad (728x15) between each catagory. At the bottom of the page I have a google search box. When I added more than one of the 728x15 only the first one showed up. I even tried gettng a new code for it but same result. So this makes me wonder if google only allows 2 ads per page? Thanks in advance. PS: You can see the page I'm working on at: http://www.whohatesmyspace.com/fixstuff.htm
You can have upto 3 ad units (The Boxes) And only 1 link unit And 2 search boxes And I think 1 referral (Not to sure about this.)
OK.. I guess I'll have to switch to the boxes, that's too bad because the link unit looked cool Thx for the quick response.
You apparently have not read the Policies page. I suggest you do this before you go too much farther as there are several DOs and do DON'Ts on there that may save your butt and your account down the road.
Maximums per page: 3 x AdSense for content ad units 2 x AdSense for search boxes 1 x Link unit 2 x Referral buttons for each referral product (since there are currently 4 referral products, this means you could have up to 8 referral buttons). Trust me on this.
I actually did try to go back and read where it might have been shown but I couldn't find it. I tried a web search on the question too and didn't get anything. That's why I posted here because I knew DP members would know.
